About Us

Perfect for family groups, a budget holiday with children, or if you just wish to get away for that quiet weekend. Retirees can also enjoy a quiet mid-week break (ask about our specials).

Caravan Clubs, and other social clubs are also welcome. So, whether you have a swag, tent, a caravan or a fifth wheeler, there will always be a spot for you to rest and relax at Goomburra Valley Campground. Don’t forget our 13-bed bunkhouse as well!

Our campground is the perfect location for a break and regeneration, a weekend getaway, or bird watching. Why not partake in a spot of fishing and yabbying? With our firepits – there is nothing better than sitting around a great fire toasting marshmallows or telling tall stories!

Brad and Teresa became the new owners of this little piece of paradise in December 2018.  Coming from a small country town, we bring our good old-fashioned qualities of providing excellent service, making people feel welcome and always ready to ‘have a chat’.  We enjoy interacting with our guests and willing to assist with anything we can.  We have plans to expand our campground and introduce new facilities to enhance our guests’ experience whilst here. Come and say hi!

The campground is 5km from the World Heritage listed Main Range National Park, a perfect spot for bush walking to the amazing lookouts and waterfalls.  Believe it or not, you can see Mt Cootha and the Brisbane skyline on a clear day!

The Darling Downs Zoo and Glengallen Homestead are also just a short drive away. For a little bit further, you can also enjoy a day at the Granite Beltz Maze & Mini Golf.

There is no mobile phone reception after the Goomburra Hall, however, we provide a free wifi connection at the office. TV reception is via satellite only.
